Trinity Leeds

Trinity Leeds is currently the biggest shopping centre development in Europe. The main shopping complex opened earlier in 2013 and houses a broad range of fashion and lifestyle stores and a variety of bars and restaurants. The spacious building is complemented by stunning architecture and sleek designs allowing for a truly relaxing space in which to shop and socialise. Our work involved the excavation and full reconstruction of Albion Street, installing granite and York Stone setts plus soft landscaping. The works were phased over 10 months to allow construction of the shop fronts in tandem with the paving works. Albion Street had to remain open for the duration of the scheme to allow the 30,000 pedestrians a day to continue with their daily business. This meant that we had to carefully plan and micro manage all works areas to constantly provide a safe passage through our works for the public on this busy shopping street.
